Johnston Financial acquires the financial services arm of Bruce Stevenson
September 2010 (Update February 2011)
We are extremely pleased to announce that we have reached agreement with Bruce Stevenson Ltd to acquire their financial services business. Bruce Stevenson are one of Edinburgh's largest and best known general insurance brokers and they will continue to trade as Bruce Stevenson Risk Management Ltd and will now concentrate on general insurance.
Joining us from Bruce Stevenson are Graham Spencer and Mary Mackenzie. Graham is an employee benefits specialist of vast exeprience and he will join us in that role, working almost exclusively with corporate clients. Mary is a fellow of the Pension Management Institute and joined us as Graham's technical administer.
All of the employee benefits clients can be assured of a seemless continuation of service from Graham. We are confident that you will benefit from our in depth admin support and scheme management systems.
Investment and individual financial services clients of Bruce Stevenson will have available the services of one of our financial planners and over time we willcontact all of you to introduce ourselves. In the meantime, we invite Bruce Stevenson clients to telephone us at any time with any questions or service requirements you may have.
1st February 2011
On 1st February 2011, following the death of our admin director, Caroline Johnston, Mary was appointed our Office Manager.
The integration of Bruce Stevenson customers with our own is going ahead very smoothly and we are delighted that all of the employee benefits clients have remained with Graham and with Johnston Financial.
